Sarah’s had a small family havdalah service at Har Shalom before her party and I loved the juxtaposition of intimate and exuberant.

Another theater lover, I seem to shoot a lot of theater lover’s mitzvahs for which I am grateful, her party was never short of drama. Nobody is ever bored at a theater themed mitzvah. The dance floor was an all ages affair and everybody just had a blast celebrating Sarah.

I especially loved the circle at the end of the night that surrounded Sarah and her parents. It really was the great big hug that encapsulated the entire night.
